Finished my 40th floating shelf set this week, surprised myself with how fast it went
I've been building these oak floating shelves for a client in Portland since last fall, and I just wrapped up number 40 on Tuesday. Honestly, when I started I was averaging about 2 hours per shelf with all the measuring and hiding the brackets. Now I'm down to 75 minutes each, and that last one came out square on the first try. Has anyone else noticed a big jump in speed after a certain number of repeat builds?
