Table saw kickback sent a 2x4 into my drywall, lucky it missed me
Building a deck in Austin last Tuesday, feeding a pressure-treated 2x4 through my old Delta saw. The board twisted on the outfeed side, kicked back hard, and punched a hole straight through the garage wall about a foot from my ribs. I was running it too fast with a dull blade and no splitter, that's on me. Anyone else here ditched their stock splitter and regretted it later?
Put a splitter back on before you touch that saw again. That garage wall ain't the only thing that can get cracked. Dull blade just makes it worse, learned that the hard way myself.
