That $180 laser level from Harbor Freight just cost me a kitchen reno
Honestly I thought I was being smart saving money on the self-leveling laser, but the line drifted halfway through a top cabinet install and I had to redo it all this morning. Anyone else trust a budget tool once and regret it hard?

Man, a whole kitchen reno thrown off because of a $180 laser that decided to take a nap mid-cabinet? That's brutal. Like, the line just drifted by a hair and suddenly you're pulling apart brand new uppers and redoing shims at 7am. I hate that feeling when you double-check your work and realize the bubble was lying to you the whole time. Honestly, some tools you can cheap out on and get away with it, but a self-leveling laser is not one of them. You basically paid $180 to add an extra day of work and a lot of cuss words to your project.
