Guy at the supply house in Gary told me to stop knee-kicking every seam, and my knees noticed in a week
I was picking up tack strip and sealer last Tuesday and this older installer with about 30 seasons on me heard me complain about my right knee. He said I was probably kicking every seam flat like a rookie and to try a hand roller on the tight stuff first. I did it on a 40 yard stretch job in Hammond two days later and by Friday my knee felt like a different knee. Honestly it takes maybe 10 extra minutes a room but I'm not limping at the end of the day anymore. Any of you switched to a roller for most seams, and does it hold as flat as a good kick?
