Saw a carpet job in Council Bluffs last week that made me pull over and stare
I was driving down Broadway near the old mall and saw a crew wrapping up a full commercial install, looked like 1,200 yards of glue-down. The seams were running straight into the main light from the big front windows, every single one of them lit up like a road map. Any installer knows you run seams with the light, not across it, so either nobody checked the plan before the glue went down or the shop sold the job without a site visit. Those ripples and peaking seams are gonna be a callback in 6 months, and the property guy will blame the carpet mill. Has anyone else seen a commercial crew ignore light direction like that, and how do you handle it when you're the one called to fix it?
