Shoutout to the guy who told me to let my adhesive tack up longer
I was at a supply shop last week and overheard this old installer telling a new guy to wait at least 45 minutes after spreading adhesive before laying carpet. Said most guys rush it and get bubbles. I tried it on a living room job this morning and it laid down way flatter than usual. Has anyone else tested longer tack times or is it just me?

Done it for years now. Humidity matters too, not just the clock. Pulls the backing tighter and you don't get those stupid corner curls later.
