That talk with my old foreman made me recheck my seams
Ran into my first foreman from 15 years back at a supply house in Louisville. He watched me lay power stretcher marks like I used to and said, "You still pulling from the hip instead of the knee?" That got me thinking, so I went back over my last few jobs and sure enough, my seams were off by a hair on three of them. It's funny how one comment from a guy who's been doing this since the 80s can make you slow down. Anyone else ever had a quick reminder from an old timer that changed how you prep a room?
