Took the flat wire route for a school library job, mixed feelings
Had to pick between cutting tack strips around a full bookshelf wall or running flat carpet wire for the new data ports. Saved about 2 hours of knee work by going with the wire, but the transition strips stick up a bit more than I like. The school's IT guy in Cleveland said it passed inspection fine, but I keep wondering if the traditional method would have looked cleaner. Anyone else deal with this tradeoff?
