Vent: Customer told me my seams were 'sloppy' and she was right
I've been installing carpet for 12 years in Seattle and thought my seams were solid. Last month a lady in Bellevue pointed out a slight gap near her doorway I didn't even see. She said 'you need to double cut instead of single cut on patterned carpet.' Tried that on my next job and the seam disappeared. Has anyone else had a customer call out something that actually improved your work?
