Wrote off power stretching for years, then a 40 oz job in Tulsa changed my mind
I spent 12 years swearing by a knee kicker and a stair tool, and I'd tell anybody who'd listen that power stretchers were for guys who couldn't get a room tight. Then a builder buddy in Tulsa asked me to fix a 40 oz wool job where the seams were opening up after 6 months, and he had a power stretcher sitting in his trailer. I humored him, ran it across a 22 foot span, and those seams pulled so tight you couldn't slide a dime under the edge. I've still got my kicker in the truck but now it's the backup, not the main. Any of you still getting pushback from old school crews when you bring one on a job?
