Swore cash was saving me money until I added up my ATM fees for 6 months at the Shell on 5th
I thought ditching cards was the whole ballgame, but I was pulling $40 out of the ATM twice a week and eating a $3.50 fee each time because I never planned ahead. That's roughly $180 over six months just to get my own money, which is more than my old bank charged in monthly fees. Now I pull out $200 every Monday and actually budget the week instead of guessing. So is the move here to switch banks, or is carrying $200 around just asking for trouble when your wallet goes missing?
