TIL my bank charges $3 to move my own cash to a savings account, so I tried a workaround
Needed to cover rent at my place in Boise and the fee to push money between my own accounts felt like a joke. Switched to paying my landlord through a cash app transfer and it cleared same day with no charge, but now every dollar I spend floats through a company that answers to nobody I voted for. Is dodging the fee worth handing another private app more of my spending history, or should I just eat the $3 and keep my money in one place?
