I thought dried beans were a hassle until I did the math on a $1.29 bag
I always grabbed canned beans for the speed, but one bag of dried pintos at the grocery on 5th Street near my place made about 6 cups cooked for way less than three cans. Soaking them overnight really wasn't the big deal I made it out to be, and now I've got a pot going most Sundays, your mileage may vary on the time though. Anyone got a favorite cheap way to use up the extra liquid or is it just me who hates tossing it?
