Dropped into a tiny diner in rural Montana and watched the line cook work a flat top like it was a piano
He had 8 orders up at once, flipping eggs with one hand and slapping down hash browns with the other, no tickets posted, no yelling, just this quiet rhythm that made me wish I had his kind of focus - has anyone else seen a cook that made you rethink your whole station setup?

That kind of flow is rare. Happy for you.

Man, @drewr15 what do you mean by that kind of flow though? Like in sports or music or just in life in general? Ive seen guys hit a hot streak at work where they cant miss for a month straight, then it just dries up. Is that the kind of flow youre talking about or more of a deep creative zone thing? Because theres a big diff between a lucky run and actually being in that state where everything just clicks.

Is it more about losing yourself in the moment or just getting lucky for a stretch?
