I finally found a way to stop my cilantro from wilting so fast

Storing it in a container with a damp paper towel keeps it crisp for over a week, have you tried something similar?

My grandma taught me to wrap parsley in a wet cloth, and it lasted forever. It's crazy how these old school kitchen tricks actually work better than fancy storage containers lol. I've been doing it with scallions and celery too, and they stay fresh for ages. Saves me so much money on groceries since I'm not throwing out wilted greens every week.

Ever do that with basil? I stuck mine in a jar of water like flowers, and it actually grew roots. What other herbs work like that?

Tried that with thyme once. It grew roots so fast I had to plant it in a pot within a week. Now it's taking over my kitchen window.

I used to just toss herbs in the fridge drawer, but that damp towel trick is a game changer.
