Had a Tuesday in December that felt like a full week of work crammed into one afternoon.

Three emergency calls for blocked flues in a row, all in the same neighborhood, and my power brush head snapped on the last one. Anyone else ever have a day where everything just decides to break at once?

Oh man, do I know that feeling. Last month I had three service calls in one day where each customer's unit was leaking for a totally different, weird reason. By the third one I was just out of the right size gasket material. It was like the universe picked a theme and ran with it. That brush head snapping on your last job is just the perfect, miserable cherry on top. Some days the job just decides to fight back.

Those theme days are the worst, like the job itself is messing with you. It always feels like the small stuff breaks right when you're already beat. Makes you just want to pack up and call it early.

Last Tuesday I had a theme day where every single call was for a clogged drain in a second-floor bathroom. By the fourth one, I was convinced I was stuck in some kind of plumbing-themed horror movie. The universe really does pick a bit and just beat it to death.
