Hot take: 6 months of using a rotary brush and I saw way less creosote buildup than my old standard wire brush ever gave me.
Switched after a job in a 1920s house where the flue was so tight my regular brush kept jamming. Has anyone else found rotary heads actually cut down on how often you need to scrape?

Yeah, rotary brushes just do a better job in tight spaces.

My buddy Jim runs a shop up in Vermont and he swore by rotary heads after a particularly nasty buildup in a farmhouse flue that had him scraping for three hours with a standard brush. Said the rotary tool cut that cleanout time in half, easy.

Man I had almost the exact same thing happen in a tight flue last winter, rotary brush saved me big time.
