Just realized my brush angle was off after a job outside Buffalo
Last Tuesday I was sweeping a 130 year old house in the North Buffalo area and kept fighting creosote buildup near the smoke shelf, then an older sweeper came by and pointed out I had the brush tilted too far left. He showed me to keep the rod at a steeper upward angle for the first two passes and it cleared right out, anyone else adjusted their technique after seeing another guy work a tough flue?

Used to think tilt barely mattered until a tough flue humbled me quick, that angle change is the whole game. Now I check it before every second pass.
