Just realized those chimney sweeping drones are actually pretty good

I saw a demo at the trade show in Kansas City last month and thought it was just a gimmick. The rep let me try it on a mock chimney with a tight 8x8 flue. The camera feed was crystal clear and it got into corners my brushes miss. Has anyone else used one on a real job yet?

I've had one of those systems for about a year now, @gibson.morgan, and it's been solid. My experience has been totally different, honestly.

My luck with tech is so bad it would probably drop the brick, miss my head, and then fall through the floor. At least then I'd have an excuse for that hole in the kitchen tiles. Gibson's got a point though, some gadgets just wait for the worst moment to break. My old phone gave up right as I was trying to show someone a map, classic move. Guess I should start wearing a helmet indoors just in case.
