My old boss in Akron told me to stop brushing flues top down, and I finally get why
He said the soot falls right back into the smoke shelf when you go from the top, and after fighting a clogged 8 inch flue on a job in Cuyahoga Falls yesterday, I'm a believer. Anyone else switch to bottom up on tight liners, or is it just me?
