Question about a $22 laundry cart, my 6th floor walkup in Queens, and what it did to my knees
Moved to Astoria from Ohio thinking the walkup was charming, six floors, no elevator, about $1,900 a month. Bought a little folding laundry cart for $22 so I could haul groceries up and figured it would save my back. Weird part is it did the opposite. I started doing fewer, bigger trips and hauling way more weight at once, and my knees hurt worse than ever. Anyone else make city life harder by trying to make it easier?
