DAE remember when the RadioShack guy in Omaha told me my Walkman batteries were 'leaking junk' and to switch to rechargeables?
I ignored him for 2 months and ruined a perfectly good cassette deck with corrosion. Now I have 4 Eneloops and a dumb question: did anyone else get lectured by a store employee about battery care back in the day?

Wait, the RadioShack guy actually warned you and you just let it sit for 2 months? That corrosion eats through the contacts and basically kills the whole deck, so he wasnt kidding about the "leaking junk." Lesson learned the hard way I guess, but at least the Eneloops wont do that to you.
