Dropped $80 on a vintage Palm Pilot that just collects dust now

Picked it up at a flea market in Austin thinking I'd use it to disconnect from my phone, but syncing it with modern computers took 4 hours and it barely holds a charge now. Anyone else buy retro tech thinking it'd be useful and it just sits in a drawer?

Man I did the same thing with an old iPod last year, just sits in a drawer now.

@jamief67 At least an iPod still plays music right? With the Palm Pilot you are stuck paying for a sync cable that probably won't work with your laptop anyway. Did you actually get any use out of it before the battery gave up or was it a paperweight from day one?

Echoing @jamief67, honestly just turned my old iPod into a dedicated clock radio instead.
