Found a working Palm Pilot at a garage sale in Cleveland for $5

I opened it up and it still had contacts from 2002. The guy selling it said it was his ex-wife's. Has anyone else ever bought old tech and found weird stuff on it?

Nah, calling old numbers from a 2002 Palm Pilot would be wild but most of those landlines are probably dead by now. The weirdest contact I saw in a similar situation was a name saved as "DO NOT ANSWER - CRAZY LINDA" with a note saying "changed her number 3 times, she still finds me." Actually that's a flip phone story, not a Palm Pilot, Palm Pilots didn't really do texts like that they were more for contacts and calendars and stuff. But still, finding old contact notes is always a trip.

Well, did you call any of those contacts? That's the real question here. A Palm Pilot full of someone's old life is like a time capsule, I'd be itching to see if any of those numbers still work or if the guy's ex-wife has moved on to a smartphone. What's the weirdest contact name or note you found in there?

Man that reminds me of when I found a flip phone with old texts and @smith.nancy would've LOVED the drama in them.
