I finally asked my grandpa why he still uses his old Palm Pilot

Last Sunday I was over at his place in St. Louis and he pulled out this Palm Pilot m515 from 2002 that still boots up fine. He told me he keeps it because the battery lasts two weeks and there's no notifications bugging him every five minutes. That honestly hit different than I expected. Made me wonder why I put up with my phone dying by 3pm every day. Anyone else got a family member with a gadget that just won't quit?

And honestly, it's probably overbuilt for what most folks actually need (but hey, that's not a bad thing at all).

Yeah @gibson.morgan it really is a tank. Been thinking about getting a dumb phone myself after hearing that story.
