Shoutout to my uncle's 1998 Palm Pilot, I pulled it out of a drawer in Fresno last weekend and it still had 3 weeks of battery
My uncle handed me his old Palm III from his garage in Fresno and I figured the battery was dead for good after 20 years in a drawer. Charged it up Sunday night and Monday morning it booted right into his old grocery list from 2001, still sitting there like nothing happened. Compare that to my last phone, which lost 40 percent of its charge just sitting on my nightstand overnight doing nothing. Feels like we traded that kind of staying power for thinner glass and a camera that takes 3 seconds to open. So what old gadgets have you all dug out that still hold a charge better than anything you can get now?
