Just got back from the new solar farm near Springfield and I'm not fully sold
They cleared over 200 acres of old growth meadow for it, which seems like a huge trade-off. I get that we need clean energy, but watching those big panels go up on land that was full of pollinators felt wrong. Has anyone else seen a project like this and wondered if the local habitat cost was too high?
