My compost bin lid launched itself into a tree yesterday
Built up too much gas from wet grass clippings, I guess. Heard a loud pop and saw the plastic lid stuck 15 feet up in an oak branch. Anyone have a better system for balancing greens and browns?

Sounds like your compost is just trying to reach new heights. Maybe the tree wants in on the action.
