My neighbor said to skip the dryer and air-dry my clothes in Tucson, and she was right
My neighbor Maria, who has lived in Tucson for 22 years, told me to stop using my dryer and hang everything on a line out back. I thought it would be a hassle, but after 3 months my electric bill dropped by $28 a month and the clothes smell better. Only downside is towels feel like sandpaper, so I still tumble those for 10 minutes. Has anyone found a trick to keep towels soft without running the dryer full cycle?
