Swapped my 90 minute commute for a bike and the difference after 4 months is not close
For about 6 years I drove 22 miles each way to work in Columbus. Last April I started biking to the new office, which is only 4 miles away, and the gap between those two setups is bigger than I expected. My gas bill dropped from around $160 a month to almost nothing, and I get home with actual energy instead of flopping on the couch. A coworker said my afternoon mood was "night and day" and I have to agree. Curious if anyone here has made a similar switch, and whether the winter months made you go back to driving.
