The guy at the Denver tool library asked why I own a gas mower, and it stung
I was dropping off a hedge trimmer at the tool library on Santa Fe last month and the volunteer asked what else I had in the garage. I mentioned my gas mower and he just said, "so you're burning a gallon for a half hour of work?" I sat with that for a week. Ended up borrowing their push reel mower for a trial and my lawn on a 40 foot lot takes me 25 minutes now instead of 15, but no fumes and no gas can runs. Curious if anyone here switched to a reel mower and regretted it, or did you go electric instead?
