Bought a $9 deburring tool to replace the 3 inch grinder on aluminum, and I feel silly for waiting
So I ran a batch of 80 aluminum brackets on the mill in our shop outside Reno and the edges were just chewing up my fingers during handling. I had been hitting every part with the 3 inch grinder for weeks, which loaded up the wheel, threw grit everywhere, and honestly took longer than the cycle time itself. My lead handed me a $9 Noga deburring tool and told me to just try it on 10 parts before he'd listen to me complain. I finished all 80 edges in about 12 minutes with zero dust and a way cleaner chamfer than the grinder ever gave me. Anyone else got a cheap hand tool sitting in the bottom of their box that they ignored way too long?
