Had to pick between a 3-axis retrofit or a whole new machine for our small shop. Went with the retrofit on our old Fadal 4020 and it's been a mixed bag.

Tell me about it. I mean, @cooper.drew nailed it with the project car thing. You're always chasing down some weird noise or fixing a loose wire. The new control is great but the old hardware keeps fighting you.
