Pro tip: I was skeptical about using a tool presetter but it saved me 45 minutes on a job last week
Always thought they were a waste of money until I had to set up 12 tools for a complex aluminum part. Has anyone else found tool presetters worth the investment for their shop?

Forty five minutes saved on one job sold me on it.

Hang on, was that a routine repair or something you'd never done before? I always wonder if the savings hold up once you factor in the learning curve on these things. Curious if it was one specific feature on the tool that made the difference.

Yeah, that "forty five minutes saved on one job" part really caught my attention. That's not just a little time saved, that's basically an extra billable job you could fit in by lunchtime if you're efficient. I think the real savings start piling up when a tool saves you that kind of time regularly, even if it's just 10 or 15 minutes at a time across a few different repairs. The learning curve is usually just one or two uses and then it's like you've always had it, so the payoff comes quick if it's something you use often.
