Shoutout to the guy who showed me a gcode trick for rigid tapping

Honestly, I was fighting with rigid tapping on our Haas for months. Chips kept packing up and breaking taps left and right. Then an old timer at my shop in Cleveland told me to add a G95 line before the tapping cycle and it feeds per revolution instead of per minute. Has anyone else tried this or got another way to keep those threads clean?

Wait, is that really all it takes to fix the chip packing issue?

Figured it might be that simple for some setups, but I've seen it go sideways more often than not. You can't just change one thing and call it done. The whole line needs to be tuned together or you'll end up with a different headache, like bent leads or misaligned parts. A buddy of mine tried a quick fix like that and their yield actually dropped for a week before they sorted it out.
