Spent $80 on a 'precision' coolant nozzle that just made a huge mess
I saw this fancy adjustable nozzle online that promised a perfect fan spray for deep pocket milling. Hooked it up to our VMC, hit the coolant button, and it shot a solid stream straight over the part and onto the control pendant. Had to shut down for an hour to dry everything out. Has anyone found a nozzle that actually works like they say it will?
My old shop ran that same nozzle for years without a hiccup. Maybe your line pressure is way too high, like what happens with @quinn195 and a pressure washer. Could it be an install issue and not the nozzle itself?
Wait, your shop ran it for YEARS without a single problem? That's crazy! My stuff always seems to break right after the warranty ends. Maybe you just got the one perfect nozzle ever made.
