Took me 4 hours to figure out my soft jaws were grabbing at an angle, now I check them with a dial indicator every time
My parts kept coming out .003 out of square for three days straight until I noticed the jaw screws were shifting on the same spot every cycle, has anyone else had soft jaw creep bite them like this on a Haas?

Did you torque the jaw bolts to the book spec or just snug them?

Fixed the same issue on a buddy's car last month, @gibson.morgan, and just snugging them with a breaker bar worked fine for us. Torque specs are nice, but if the bolts are clean and the threads are good, snug has never let me down.
