Vent: Our shop's coolant went from clear to a swamp in under a week.
Honestly, it was fine last Monday, but by Friday it was thick and green. The new guy on the Haas VF2 was topping off the tank with plain tap water instead of the mixed solution. Ngl, it killed two pumps and we had to do a full system flush. Has anyone else had a coolant crash that fast from a simple mix-up?

Man, I gotta push back on that... green coolant in a week sounds more like something was already growing in the system and the tap water just sped it up. I've seen shops run straight water for longer without crashing pumps that fast.

They trained us to put the cover sheet on the TPS reports, not to handle the existential dread of doing it.
