Why does nobody talk about how long it takes to dial in a new fixture plate?
Spent 6 hours chasing tenths on a simple aluminum bracket because the plate wasn't trammed from the factory. Anyone else get burned by that?

Yeah, that's a classic. I finally just started checking every new plate with a tenths indicator on a long arm. Found one last month that was out by almost five thou. A quick skim cut on the machine saved me a whole afternoon of headaches.
