Heads up if you're learning from that free coding site everyone links in the Discord, the one I tried last Tuesday
I was poking around the free lessons on a site that gets recommended here every week and noticed about six of the first ten examples still use old syntax that most tutorials quit using years back. Not a huge deal at first, but a friend of mine copied one of those snippets into a project and spent two hours chasing an error that wasn't even his fault. Your mileage may vary since it might just be the beginner track I clicked on, but check the date on any course before you put hours into it. Has anyone else run into outdated lesson code, or did I just pick the wrong site?
