My first real code review made me see my projects totally different

Last month I showed my 200 line Python script to a senior dev at our meetup in Austin. He asked why I had three separate loops doing what one dictionary comprehension could do. After he walked me through it, my whole approach to data handling changed. Has anyone else had that moment where one person's feedback rewired how you write code?
