Eight tries, huh? You got me beat by a couple. What was your golden ratio? I finally landed on 15 grams of coffee to 250 grams of water, and it was like a lightbulb went off. That first perfect cup after all those fails just hits different, you know? Makes you wonder why it took so long to figure out something that seems so simple now.

Went through 12 bags of beans before I got it right, so you're doing better than me. But honestly at that point I was so caffeinated I couldn't even tell if it was good or I was just too shaky to care. My secret was accidentally using the wrong grind size and getting mad enough to just pour water on it anyway. Now I act like I meant to do it the whole time. The lightbulb moment is real though, especially when you realize it was just your tap water messing things up the whole time.
