Hit 200 espresso pulls on my home machine this weekend

I've been tracking every shot I pull since January in a little notebook, and Sunday morning I hit pull number 200 exactly. Honestly I thought my machine would act up way before now, especially with my daily lattes and my wife's afternoon cortados. Has anyone else looked back at their counter and realized how much coffee you actually go through in a year?

Hell yeah, 200 pulls is a solid milestone! That notebook thing is smart though, I bet you can actually see when your technique changed or when beans were hitting different. So here's my question - did you notice a big drop in your coffee shop spending since you started tracking? Like I swear once I added up how many $6 lattes I was buying before I got my machine, it made me feel a little sick. But I'm curious if that actually matters to people or if its just about the hobby.

My buddy spent $400 on a grinder before he even owned an espresso machine, do what works.
