I finally gave up on pour-over coffee after burning $80 on gear

Bought a fancy V60 set and a gooseneck kettle, then spent 3 weeks making bitter, weak cups before my friend pointed out my grind size was way off. Anyone else find pour-over more hassle than it's worth?

Got an Encore grinder and never looked back. Huge difference.

Man, tell me about it! A buddy of mine was using this really old blade grinder forever and his coffee was always all over the place. He finally grabbed an Encore after I told him about @leo_black76's posts here and the difference was wild. First cup he made with it, he texted me like 'this is what coffee is supposed to taste like, I've been wasting beans for years.' Now he won't shut up about grind consistency, lol.
