Called Lebron's 2011 Finals meltdown the night it happened and got laughed out of the group chat
June 2011, game 4 in Dallas, I texted 8 guys that Lebron would never be Jordan because he disappears when it matters. They clowned me hard, said I was reactionary, one guy said I was just a hater from Akron. Fast forward and that 8 point game is still the go-to example whenever people argue about his clutch gene. Nobody brings up my text anymore but I know it is still sitting there. What take did your friend group roast you for that ended up being right?

Doubled down on that text too and sent it to the same group after game 4 ended, screenshots and all. The thing nobody ever brings up is that the Mavs were guarding him with Shawn Marion and a zone, and he just stopped attacking, which is way worse than missing shots. That whole series changed how I watch him in the 4th and honestly the text aged like wine.
