Everyone pushed me toward the 4 year degree, but my $3k drafting certificate got me hired first
I finished a 9 month certificate program at a community college in Spokane while my buddy was still two years into his bachelor's, and I had a job offer with benefits before he graduated. Employers kept asking what I could actually do, not where my paper came from. Has anyone else found that the shorter program paid off faster than the degree everyone told them to get?
