TIL my $95 diploma frame from the campus bookstore was cardboard inside and my cat knocked it off the shelf during a Zoom interview

Ordered the official frame when I picked up my diploma at Ohio State last spring, and the thing showed up with a fake wood grain sticker peeling off the back. Last Tuesday my cat sent it flying off the shelf mid-interview and the glass cracked, so I finally peeled the back off out of spite. Inside was a sheet of corrugated cardboard with a sticker that said "assembled in China" right under the words "Buckeye Pride." I taped the diploma to the wall with painter's tape and honestly it looks better than the frame did. Has anyone found a frame that isn't just cardboard with a mark-up, or should I just keep the tape?
