Warning: getting my diploma reissued because of one missing middle name took 7 weeks
So I got my diploma in the mail and my middle name was just gone, and the registrar said fixing it meant filing a whole reissue request. I figured it would be a phone call and a week, but it ended up taking 7 weeks and two trips to the office on campus in Tucson. The hold up was that they needed a notarized copy of my birth certificate even though their own system spelled my name right when I applied. I finally got a plain white envelope with the corrected one and honestly it looks cheaper than the first one. Has anyone else had a reissue drag out like this, or did yours come faster?
