Everyone told me digital comics would kill my pull list, so I put it off for 2 years
I held out on digital comics forever because my buddy Rick at the shop in Cleveland kept saying it would ruin the hobby and kill local stores. Well, 2 years ago my commute got longer and I finally caved and got a tablet, mostly for the free stuff. Turns out it's actually made me buy more print, not less. I read a sample of a book on the bus, liked it, and went in and grabbed the floppy the same Friday. My pull list went from about 12 titles to 18. Rick still gives me a hard time about the tablet every time I walk in, but he's ringing up more of my money now, so who's really winning here. I still think reading a physical book feels better, that part I won't argue. Curious if other people found the same thing, or did digital actually pull you away from the shop?
