Got roasted at my shop's swap meet for my "comic file plan" that fell apart in 20 minutes
I set up a table at the shop swap meet in Mesa on Saturday with about 60 comics in a long box, sorted by publisher and labeled with sticky notes. Less than 20 minutes in, a guy in a Captain America tee flipped through and put them all back in the wrong order, so I stood there re-sorting while people waited. I gave up on the labels and just started telling each person what runs were in there, which worked way better and three of them asked for my number. I sold 22 books but learned my sorting system did nothing except make me look busy. How do you folks organize a box for a swap meet without losing your mind?
